We started because of our passion for building things that serve our community.
We met at UNI and bonded the way most CS students do, late nights debugging, group projects, and the drive to create functional software.
Our first real project was the Brown Bottle app — a scheduling and workforce tool for a Cedar Falls restaurant managing 75+ employees. Watching it go live and genuinely change how that team worked made something click. The businesses that need good software the most are often the ones least served by it. Local operators don’t have IT departments or six-figure budgets. They just have a real problem and not enough hours in the day.
That’s the gap we want to close. Cedar Falls and the surrounding area is full of people building something worth building — restaurants, trades, retailers, service businesses — and we want to be the team they call when technology can make it run better. Not a faceless agency. Not an offshore dev shop. Just three people from here, who care about this place, doing work they’re proud of.
A few things we won’t compromise on.
No six-week discovery phases. We scope tightly, start quickly, and ship something real.
Not just the deliverable. If it isn't working, we want to know — and we'll fix it.
Straightforward scopes, plain-English updates, and invoices that don't surprise you.
